The reasons why you should love me; I believe in your dreams when they were blurry and you were filled with doubts; I help nurture the vision you have for yourself when it seems no one, not even your mother, understands it; I gave you the leap of faith, both in yourself and in the power of potentials you have; I loved you when you weren’t full of age and beauty, and never took advantage of your innocence; even when you were in doubt of my feelings for you and you needed to reaffirm what you already knew, I calm your nerves and thwarted your doubts and then simply nudge you on in the path of your purpose; if that’s not enough, then what is?
I won’t beg to be loved by you, or anyone for that matter. Your loss, or gain, would be another’s gain of loss!
